Faerie Homecoming Exhibition
Sitheachan Sgraiteach (or the raggy faeries) were developed by Rag Tag ‘n’ Textile as part of a literacy project, funded by the Highland Adult Literacy Project (HALP) Our unique and lovely faeries proved so successful that the people who participated in the project wanted to make more. We researched local myth and legend, wrote our own stories and made lots of faeries. 2009 was the Highland Homecoming and we wanted to take part, so supported by INCREASE we created an exhibition and photographed them in a bluebell woodland setting.
